Lip Scrub

Keep your lips soft and supple and here is how…

What is a Lip Scrub?

A lip scrub is a natural exfoliant designed to help the lips shed any excess skin. They are especially useful after windburn, illness, or excess sun. Structured with an exfoliant and a emollient, lip scrubs can come in almost any flavor.

It’s important to know what kind of scrub you’re getting. Some scrubs come in a slim tube like lip gloss or lipstick, others come in a small pot like lip balm. Some can be applied with the fingers and others should be used with a soft, wet toothbrush or damp washcloth. Some are meant to be left on the lips as the exfoliant works first and then the emollient, or lubricant, takes over and leaves your lips moistened after. Some are meant to be removed, as certain ingredients used in certain scrubs are not meant to be digested, regardless of flavor. (We will only use natural ingredients, which may smell delicious, but we still do not recommend eating any of our products.) Again: know your scrub! Also, know your mouth. No scrubs can be used daily, but some can scrub one or two times a week, others not so often. Please, be cautious to start, as excessive scrubbing may lead to broken blood vessels, acne, sensitive to UV, and the wrong scrub can even darken your blemishes. The type of scrub used can also contribute to this. Scrubs applied with fingers will not scrub as harshly. Using a brush or rag will pull harder at the fragile skin that comprises the lips and may cause irritation.

We as innovative Lip Scrub Manufacturer never use harsh chemicals or harmful synthetic ingredients.

Why use a Lip Scrub?

Lip scrubs are important, even if you only exfoliate once a week. Our lips are still covered in skin and, as the rest of the body needs to be exfoliated, so do our lips. It’s a valuable, but often overlooked, part of your skincare routine.

Remember: if your lips, or the skin around them, become irritated stop using your scrub! If this happens, please check your scrub for anything to which you may be allergic. It may be a day or two before the irritation fades but, if you’re not allergic, try it again but with a gentler application.

What Lip Scrubs we can create for you!

We use only 100% guaranteed natural and organic ingredients. No silicones, no man-made junk. We help you design your product for your client base, including scents. We have a dedicated aromatherapist who can assist with this.

You’ll want to look at things like shea or cocoa butter, coconut or avocado oil, grapeseed or jojoba oil, coconut butter or vitamin E oil for the lubricant. Also consider aloe or honey to help with moisture retention after product use. For exfoliants, look at white cane sugar, coconut sugar, coffee grounds, brown cane sugar, and coarse oats.

  • Using 100% guaranteed only natural and organic ingredients
  • Create a unique formula made to your needs
  • Design your aromatherapy suited to your product and client base
