White & Private Label Skincare

White & Private Label Skincare Manufacturing in Australia

Understanding the difference between white label, private label and contract skincare manufacturing.

What is the difference between white label, private label skincare manufacturing, and cosmetic contract manufacturing?

In skincare manufacturing, white label, private label and contract manufacturing offer different levels of speed, flexibility and product ownership.

White label allows brands to launch quickly using pre-developed formulations manufactured under their own brand.
Private label offers limited customisation of existing formulas, such as ingredient adjustments or fragrance variations, while retaining a faster path to market.
Contract manufacturing involves bespoke formulation development or the manufacture of brand-owned formulas through tech transfer, offering the highest level of customisation and scalability.

Each option suits different business models, budgets and growth stages, depending on the level of control and development required.

What is the process?

The manufacturing process differs depending on whether you choose white label, private label or contract manufacturing, with each pathway designed to suit different levels of customisation, speed to market and product ownership.

White Label Skincare Manufacturing

White label skincare manufacturing allows brands to purchase ready-made products exactly as supplied, selected from our existing white label range. These products are manufactured using fixed formulations and standard packaging options and are supplied as-is, without modification.

White label is suitable for brands seeking the fastest route to market and does not include changes to formulation, packaging, or labelling.

Private Label Skincare Manufacturing

Private label skincare manufacturing applies when changes are made to an existing product, including custom packaging, application of brand labels, or limited formulation adjustments.

Following submission of a private label brief, proposed changes are assessed for feasibility prior to sample preparation and manufacturing. Private label is suitable for brands seeking differentiation while working from an established formulation base.

Contract Manufacturing Skincare

Contract manufacturing is suited to brands requiring bespoke formulation development or the manufacture of brand-owned formulas via tech transfer, offering the highest level of customisation and scalability.

This pathway involves formulation development or review, sample evaluation, and manufacturing in line with agreed specifications. Third-party testing, regulatory compliance and validation are arranged by the brand owner or external specialists.

Our White Label Range

My Skincare Manufacturer offers a curated range of white label skincare products, developed to support brands seeking a streamlined and efficient path to market. Our white label range consists of ready-made formulations supplied as-is, with fixed ingredients, fragrance profiles and packaging formats.

Our current white label collection includes a range of core skincare and hair care products suitable for retail, professional and everyday use. These products are manufactured at our Australian facility and are available for purchase without formulation, packaging or labelling changes.

The Hunter Valley Collection

Our white label range includes the Hunter Valley Collection, inspired by the natural landscapes of the Hunter Valley region in New South Wales. Each product in the collection is named after a local place or landmark and incorporates a selected Australian native ingredient as part of the base formulation.

The collection has been developed as a cohesive range of products designed for consistency, ease of manufacture and reliability across production runs.

Product Scope & Flexibility

White label products are supplied exactly as listed and are intended for brands seeking speed to market.
Any changes to formulation, fragrance, packaging or labelling move the product into private label manufacturing.

Private label options may allow for selected modifications to existing formulations, subject to feasibility assessment.

Ingredients & Preservation

Our white label formulations are developed with a focus on stability, shelf life and suitability for commercial distribution. Preservative systems are selected to support product safety and consistency. Alternative preservative systems may be considered under private label manufacturing.

Manufacturing Standards

All products are manufactured in Australia at our Beresfield, NSW facility, operating under cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) systems aligned with ISO 22716. Manufacturing processes are designed to support quality, consistency and traceability across production runs.
